Bryn Smith was a baseball legend. Despite being one of the last picks in the 1973 MLB Draft, he made history at multiple points of his career. His professional career began when he signed with the Baltimore Orioles out of Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA. His first headline moment would come when he and his wife were interviewed by Sports Illustrated and discussed having to drive from Canada to the U.S for groceries to pick up essentials, like Doritos. Bryn would go on to pitch in historical moments, the first mascot ejection (Youppi!), the game Ferris Bueller attended in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and the first win in Colorado Rockies history. Bryn would play for the Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals and the Colorado Rockies throughout his big league career. A career that would finish with more than 100 pitching wins and over 1,000 strikeouts. All information contained in our videos should be taken as opinion based and alleged.
