Keys to Speed presents a multi-part series on how to tune in Forza Motorsport and Horizon. For more tuning guide details visit: https://forzatune.com/guide/the-fully... ----- Transcript Caster refers to the angle between 'true' vertical, and the suspension strut assembly. Caster angle should never be negative, and in fact, this is not even an available option in games like Forza. Positive caster encourages the wheels to return to 'centre' if you were to remove your hands from the steering wheel. The more positive the angle, the more stable the car will be on the straights. Even so, set the caster angle as low as possible without the car wanting to weave all over the track. Most cars will be in the range of 5 plus or minus 0.5 degrees. If during long straights this happens, and you find yourself constantly having to correct it, simply increase the angle. This will also increase steering effort required to turn the wheels, which may be reflected in your wheel setup -- but not an issue when playing with a gamepad. Some points to remember when tuning caster: If the car feels too responsive to steering input, increase the angle. If the car isn’t responsive enough, decrease the angle. Congrats - you completed the first major section of this course. In the next one we move to springs and other ways to help manage weight transfer.
