The P.O.W.E.R. of Knowing: An Alzheimer's Update

This critically important forum seeks to shine light on Alzheimer’s dementia in communities of color as older African Americans are 2x more likely than their White counterparts to have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, making this another health disparity adversely impacting black and brown communities. The decline in cognition and general functioning takes a toll on the individuals with this disease as well as their families. Through our panel of experts, we will educate on the importance of prevention, early identification, and treatment, and provide resources to help mitigate these challenges.
