Time to travel to Bali! Our full-time traveling family spent 48 hours flying with our 4 kids to Bali, Indonesia. Follow our family travel vlog as we launch from RV living into world traveling! Watch how we start our overseas adventure when our first flight delay changed everything! The story starts with our full-time RV family putting our RV in storage in Denver, Colorado. We then stayed at a hotel for one night before we flew to Minnesota to spend a few days with our extended family. Our world traveling family was ready to leave from the Minneapolis airport on a flight that was supposed to bring us to Taiwan, and then Bali. However, our flight was delayed. It continued to become delayed so much that we had to be transfered to a completely different airline and fly the other way around the world! We no longer were going to Taiwan for a layover, but to Amsterdam and then Singapore. Our kids did amazing flying carryon only and carried their own backpacks, most of the way. In Amsterdam we need to get 2 hotel rooms so that the kids could sleep for a bit before we got on our 12 hour flight to Singapore. When we finally arrive in Bali, it was dark and everyone was tired. Yet, we were so thankful for our driver being there ready to pick us up. First we got our sim card for our cell phone, exchanged money, and grabbed a few snacks in the airport because we were hungry and Tony's blood sugar was getting low. Diabetes didn't go away just because we traveled to the other side of the world. Oh, and found bathrooms again for the kids. All 4 kids slept during our 1 hour drive from the airpot in Denpasar to our villa in Ubud, Bali. We arrived in the dark and the kids were excited to see their new place!
