If you're looking for the best hotel in Playa de las Americas, as far as four star hotels in Tenerife go, this is a high contender. This property is 3 minutes walk from the beach, approximately 100 yards from the beach. This large complex features an outdoor large swimming pool, spa and rooms with balconies decorated with lovely green foliage many of which have sea views of Atlantic and the island of Gomer. The Gala has nice décor throughout. The air-conditioned rooms are very spacious, have a flat screen TV and have a minibar. Buffet-style food is on offer in the Gala’s restaurant although can get crowded at times, especially for drinks and the toaster machines. There is also a pool bar and cocktail bar. The hotel provides quality evening entertainment, we saw a Beatles tribute band during our stay. They also have and a range of activities throughout the day including a children’s club. The TV lounge has free WiFi with a good signal, computers with internet access are available in reception for a fee. The Hotel Gala’s spa has a large indoor pool, and offers treatment for hydrotherapy and massage. You will also find a hot tub and gym area.
