MP PLEDGES TO REVIVE DORMANT COMMUNITY HEALTH POST IN AFADZATO SOUTH The Member of Parliament for Afadzato South, Hon. Frank Afriyie, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the district by pledging support for the training of a qualified community member to manage the community health post, which has remained non-operational for several years due to the lack of trained personnel. Hon. Afriyie made this known in an interview with Lukusi TV during the Dunenyo Za at Leklebi Wobey . He explained that reviving the health facility would significantly enhance access to basic healthcare services and reduce the burden on residents who currently travel long distances to seek medical attention. The MP also expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for his full support and commitment to the development of the Afadzato South District, noting that government interventions are positively impacting communities across the area. Touching on agriculture, Hon. Afriyie highlighted that Afadzato South produces largely organic bananas and other foodstuffs, which remain a key source of livelihood for residents and contribute to food security. He assured constituents of his resolve to continue advocating for initiatives that will improve healthcare delivery, boost agriculture, and enhance the overall well-being of people in the district. #lukusitv
