This Dual D1 Kalimba is a rechargeable kalimba and can be amplified by using a speaker and earphones. This Dual D1 is an updated and latest version of April Yang. Compared with the previous version which was made with 5 different colors logo light, this latest version was modified into 2 basic colors to prolong the battery life and ensure its durability. Basic color indicators are RED when low battery & charging and WHITE if turned ON & fully charged. This kalimba has a built-in rechargeable 500 mAh Li-ion Battery. The seller's advise is to use a non-fast charger not exceeding 5V and it is chargeable from 40 minutes to 1 hour time. Please be informed that this kalimba will only turn on when attached with a speaker or earphones as it is made with an audio processing system to power up the sound quantity and let you enjoy the very nice sound quality it produces right from your fingertips. However, Dual D1 is a two in one musical instrument which can be played even without any devices attached. The package also comes with a hard shell sturdy bag with high quality materials, unlike the previous one which comes with a soft padded bag. The tremolo chain also comes with a magnet to easily attach with your kalimba and in addition to this upgrade, the instruction card is now with an English translation. While the musical score is in Chinese characters and you will want to translate it in English, I recommend using the google lens. Sound Check material: Mitsuha's Theme. Please be patient watching the entire video to listen to the sound check part coz if I am to ask about this kalimba, this is so far my best kalimba. This video and audio was recorded with a smartphone and no audio editing was done to show the real sound quality of the kalimba when recorded.
