Large parts of the country had been affected by snowfall overnight, so services from some of the worst hit areas were subjected to some delay. Manchester seemed to be hit quite bad. With many services from Manchester running at least 15 mins late. A good bit of variety to look out for. Class 68s, 88s, 66s and the usual WCML regulars, London North Western 350s and Avanti West Coast Pendolinos & the new 805 Everos. Quite a rare movement to look out for is 1A33, Manchester to Euston for absolutely no apparent reason, was crossed over to pass through platform 2. Yes it is a bi-directional platform, but still a very odd move crossing it from the "Up Fast" to the "Down" for no reason only for it to go straight back to the "Up Fast" round the corner at Hilmorton Jnc.
