In this program he examines the current global energy crisis. Presently gas prices increase substantially driving electricity prices impacting countries particularly across Europe and Asia. In France and the UK some factories stopped production recently. In the coming months the Northern Hemisphere heads into the winter season driving electricity needs as private homes need heating. In China we now see electricity cuts implemented in a range of cities as there is lack of access to gas and coal. This global energy crisis could spill into social unrest driving political risks if people cannot pay their bills, and if companies and factories have to stop production driving layoffs. This global energy turbulence likely continues to varying degree in the coming months and years.
