Cancer vaccine launch pad: What do colorectal cancer nurses need to know?

This event was developed for healthcare professionals. Cancer vaccine trials are being widely delivered throughout the country in many cancer types, including colorectal cancer. The Cancer Vaccine Launch Pad (CVLP) is a project to develop, and establish the feasibility, of patient referral and pathology handling pathways which may enable NHS patients with cancer to more easily access cancer vaccine trials. The session, led by Dr Dan Muller, will briefly cover the science behind targeted and personalised cancer vaccines. It'll provide an overview of the CVLP, how patients are recruited and what the patient journey looks like. It'll also explain how colorectal clinical teams can support patients within the CVLP and the associated colorectal cancer vaccine trials.
