3 Tips to Keep Your Winch Working when You Need It

These three easy tips will help keep your winch running smoothly so its ready go when you need it the most! Please comment below and let me know what it is! --Lubrication used in this video-- http://amzn.to/2hEJDYX Tip 1: Look over your winch for corrosion, cracks, dents, freespool operation, rust, etc. Tip 2: Freespool the winch cable out (be careful not to take it all the way out though). Then power it back in, then Power it out and back in again. If you have space and a good connection point, hook your winch up and let the weight of the ATV / UTV to power it back in with tension. Tip 3: Check cable and clean it while its out. Check for cable frays, kinks, and other damage. Then (using the right kind and amount) apply some lubricant to the wire.
