I recently went to Six Flags Great Escape (also known as Great Escape, The Great Escape, and Six Flags the Great Escape) near Lake George. This park in Queensbury, New York was once a storybook park meant for families with small children. It has now been transformed into a Six Flags park with rides such as Comet, Adirondack Outlaw, Steamin' Demon, Canyon Blaster, Sasquatch, Alpine Bobsled, Condor, Flashback, and Greezed Lightning. My experience was not the best. In this review, I will review the Great Escape rides, layout, operations, atmosphere, and theming and explain why I did not particularly enjoy this park along with why it may be the worst theme park. Sorry Canobie Coaster and Coaster Studios, but this park was far from great. Subscribe for more theme park content including a La Ronde review, rankings, YTPs, coaster comedies, theme park rap battles, and much more. Is this the worst Six Flags park? Or is it vastly underrated? We finally went to the park that often gets the wrong end of the stick when it comes to large new investments, and wanted to see for ourselves if it actually was a good park or not! The Great Escape in Queensbury, New York is the most charming Six Flags park. This amusement and water park has not been flagged as a Six Flags park, but it has some similarities to their other parks. But more importantly, this theme park still has a lot of charm and walkthrough elements from its Storytown U.S.A. days. While this park has the reputation as a lower tier Six Flags park, it is still a fun park.
