In this video, we step back to the dawn of human warfare to make one of the oldest weapons known to mankind: the sling. I weave cords by hand, shaping them into a tool that has fed clans and defended lands for thousands of years. A leather pouch is crafted to cradle the stones I carefully collect from the shore, choosing each projectile for its weight and shape before imbuing them with a curse to fly true. But stone is not enough. I build a small medieval style forge and melt lead ingots taken from defeated enemies, carving an oak mold to cast heavy lead sling bullets for greater power.
