If you enjoy honest, simple recipes made with everyday ingredients, you’re in the right place. 👉 Subscribe for more nourishing homemade recipes and healthy desserts. 🧾 INGREDIENTS MEASUREMENTS – 1 CAKE) Dry ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats (toasted and blended) 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder Wet ingredients & mix-ins: 2 ripe bananas 2 eggs 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 1 medium apple, grated (without skin) 2 tablespoons cocoa powder ¼ cup raisins (soaked) ¼ cup walnuts, chopped ¼ cup pumpkin seeds For the pan: Olive oil (for greasing) Oat flour (for dusting the baking tin) Chocolate topping: ½ cup dark chocolate 3 tablespoons warm milk Decoration: Whole walnuts (for topping) 👩🍳 STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS (VERY CLEAR & HONEST) Soak the raisins in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain and set aside. Lightly toast the rolled oats in a dry pan over medium heat until golden and fragrant. Let cool. In a blender, blend the bananas until smooth, then add the 2 eggs and mix them well. Add cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Mix well. Add greek yogurt to the the banana–egg mixture and continue mixing. peel the apple and grate it and fold it into the batter. Add cocoa powder, soaked raisins, chopped walnuts, and pumpkin seeds. Mix until thick but spreadable. (Add 1–2 tablespoons of milk if needed.) Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease the baking tin with olive oil and dust lightly with oat flour to prevent sticking. Pour the batter into the tin and smooth the top. Decorate with whole walnuts. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Chocolate topping: 15. Melt the dark chocolate and mix with warm milk until smooth. 16. Pour over the slightly cooled cake and spread gently.
