Cleaning & Strip Out - VW Crafter Camper Conversion

This is the first day of my new campervan build! The basis for this conversion is a 2013 VW Crafter and the whole interior will be handmade by me over the next few months. The van’s previous life was as a support vehicle for Volvo lorries so you can imagine the back is pretty oily and greasy. In this first video I remove the racking that had been left by the previous owner, remove the ply lining and give the whole interior a going over with degreaser. In the next video I’ll be removing the ply floor, cleaning the metal underneath, filling any holes and treating any rust.
