Quite a few of you got curious when seeing my Warhammer Fantasy miniatures in the background of my videos. So Here I show you my Bretonnian army and how I paint them, what colours I use, what techniques and why I chose the colour patters that I did :) I hope you enjoy this video If you do I will make more :D Link to Oil Painting Games Channel / @theknightofart8169 Warhammer is a miniature wargame with a medieval fantasy theme produced by Games Workshop and released for the first time in 1983. It simulates battles between armies from different factions. The game is no longer supported; the new version of it is Warhammer:Age of Sigmar. Players use miniature models to represent warriors and vehicles. The playing field is a model battlefield comprising scale models of buildings, trees, hills, etc... Players take turns moving their uniots made of model warriors across the battlefield and fight the units of other players. The outcomes of fights between the models are determined by dice rolls and the statistics (strenght, armor, weapon skill, etc...) of the units. Warhammer is set in a fictional universe notable for its "dark and gritty" background world. There are two prominent human nations: The Empire which is based on a combination of aspects of the Holy Roman Empire and Renaissance Germany, and Bretonnia, which is based on Arthurian legends and medieval France. Elves and Dwarfs, Chaos and Undeads, Lizardmen and Skaven, Orcs and Norse are other races that live in this fantasy setting and from which the players can choose an army to use on the tabletop battleground.
