Overnight stay in the duplex suite at Tottington Manor, Small Dole, West Sussex. Been here many times for lunch and Christmas dinner and can say without doubt the food here is exceptional. We booked the best room in the hotel and with an aching heart was very dissappointed with the best room. The bedroom had so much character and charm, however the downstairs looked nothing more than a site office. Confused...pointless and no character, and the bathroom looked like it had beed extracted from a new build house. All was perfectly clean and fresh, absolutely no issue. The food was on a next level. The other rooms seem better and cheaper, this room just needs a little TLC. Could not in anyway regard this room as 4* standard. £261 not justified.
