It’s been 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War – the war between communist forces of Northern Vietnam (supported by the USSR and China) and the army of Southern Vietnam, among the major allies of which were the United States of America. In this episode, I'm traveling across Vietnam following the route of the Reunification train which has been connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) since the end of the conflict. In addition to exploration of those cities, I investigate areas of Vietnam which suffered the most during the Vietnam war, find a bunch of war remnants which can legitimately be called mute witnesses of one of the most tragic military conflicts of the 20th century.
