The director talks about the last days of the poet and composer and his last meeting with him. "Last 18th or 19th I went to Calcutta. I went to the hospital and his room and he was wide awake but he was unconscious. I felt his pulse. It was there and he was looking at me without I think recognising me because he didn't react. He was just looking at me. I tried to talk to him. I gave up. I was there for more than half an hour. I talked to the doctors, his relatives, and I felt very bad. I didn't want to see such a conscious human being unconscious."
