In the first episode of City & Local's Guide to Toronto, we explore the city's islands. Often referred to as "The Island", "Centre Island", or "Toronto Island Park". Since most of the 15 small interconnected islands are residential, we stick to Centre Island and Hanlan's Point to showcase the many sights and attractions. Since we did our 15, 000 step walk in the fall, many of the usual spots were closed for the season. That being said, I prefer the fall because if this was the summer, it would have been absolutely packed and we wouldn't have been able to take our time to soak in the views and history of the islands.
