"Sacrifice" is a song by British musician Elton John, written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, from John's 22nd studio album, Sleeping with the Past (1989). It was first released in October 1989 as the second single from the album. It achieved success in 1990. Played in the key of C Major, it's a relatively easy song to play - and instantly recognizable. Remember, I'm playing this song as I hear it on the record and then interpreting it onto piano. The left hand is doing a lot of the work here by filling in notes by using 10th's and arpeggios.
