Thanks Steph! The original release of this line was in celebration of Tatuaje's 10th Anniversary, which was in 2013. This Capa Especial is a small-batch, limited-edition cigar featuring vintage Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos with a dark Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. The original 10th cigars featured Ecuador Habana wrappers. Of the original release, the Belle Encre is my favorite, so I'm really looking forward to trying this version and seeing how I respond to it. Meaning "Beautiful Ink," Belle Encre - a 5.375" x 48 perfecto, is a nod to the brand Tatuaje which, of course, means "tattoo" (which is Filipino in origin). They say this is a medium to full-bodied profile with hearty notes of cocoa, pepper and raisin over a woody foundation with hints of espresso and earth.
