Both Amsterdammers and tourists like to go there. The Vondelpark is a green oasis in the city, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. You can also do good sports there. There are spacious trails for runners and walkers. There is also an artificial grass field for playing football. For children there are a number of playgrounds and a swimming pool, which is open from May to September. Throughout the year there are fun events in the Vondelpark. In the summer you can go to the Open Air Theater for free concerts and shows. You will also find several cafes and restaurants in the park.
