The sound you hear in the background is that of a flowing river, birds and a few passing trains as well as many different kinds of birds. WiseTalks is a program designed to bring illumination to the mind. Each instalment in the WiseTalks series will highlight leaders in their fields who will share with you golden nuggets of wisdom. Each show will reveal to the audience knowledge from leaders who have been helping people to make powerful and positive changes in their lives for many years. In this third addition Terry has the honour of talking with Sufi Sam who has led many meditations at the Osho Meditation Resort in Pune, India for over 20 years. 37 years ago Sam had three heart attacks and was given pain medications and told by his doctors to go home, there was nothing that could be done for him and that he had approximately 3 months before he would die. That's when Sam beat the odds and truly began the journey to live his life fully, eventually making his way to India where he met Osho and never left. It was here, at the Osho Meditation Resort where I met Sam 17 years ago and learned Sufu Whirling under his guidance and fell in love with it. Now on my recent return to India Nov 2012, I had the opportunity to meet up with my old friend again and talk to him for this interview on Wise Talks. I hope you enjoy it. Terry Hodgkinson.
