In classic WEGS GARAGE fashion, we overcomplicate a simple project by designing and fabricating a custom, upholstered, sheet metal glove box for our Triumph TR4! We were not overly impressed with the commercially available glove boxes. Dad thought, why not make our own? Being an “old tin knocker,” he has the tools and expertise to make a box out of galvanized steel that will be nicer, more durable, and easier to fit. The underfelt is the synthetic jute kit from The Roadster Factory. Instructions for the TR4 interior kits are difficult to find.
