The Dollar Bird: ( Sometimes heard, seldom seen ) Rare Footage

In this clip of the Dollar Bird there is a mature one ( with the orange beak ) and a younger one whose beak is brownish in colour. These birds visit Australia from New Guinea and its islands to breed in Summer. They nest in hollows and although their strange calls are heard with some regularity during the season it is rare to get a decent look at them as they seldom sit still for very long and like to hang out in thick brush or the tops of trees out of sight. There is very little good footage of them available so I was extremely fortunate and very glad to obtain this footage, some of which is quite clear. It has taken me nearly 8 weeks to get this, please enjoy.
