I was headed to mow a totally different yard, one that’s going to take days to finish but with rain coming in fast today I had to pivot. That’s when I found this place. At first glance, it looked abandoned. Overgrown palms, bushes blocking the front, waist high grass… I knocked just in case. No answer. But as I was heading back to the truck, a neighbor walking her dog filled me in. Then another neighbor came over and gave me the full story. it’s a vacation home. And every time the owners come back into town, they spend weeks just trying to tame the yard. So I figured… what if I just did it for them? The neighbors were clearly tired of the mess, but no one could give me permission. Still… you know me. Sometimes you gotta risk it for the biscuit. This yard needed help now. Between the jungle of plants, a swarm of bees, and zero permission this one got wild. But in the end, the transformation was worth it. Hopefully, when the owners come back, they get a nice surprise instead of a full weekend of yard work.
