The Historic Cold Spring Village Museum is located in Cape May NJ. It is a place full of history based on the 1800s. Historic Cold Spring Village brings to life the day-to-day activities of villagers living in South Jersey during the “age of homespun.” (1789-1840). Visitors can make a personal connection between the past and present through the interactive, educational, and hands-on family activities. The Village is open seasonally and it is perfect for kids and adults who may be vacationing or visiting Cape May or Wildwood NJ. As of 2023, the admission fee was listed at: $14 for adults, 12 for children 12 - to 3, and free for kids under 3. They have tours available as well as individuals present at each house. A map is provided to you for guidance as soon as you get in. They also have a restaurant and a brewery in house for the grown ups. A special thank you to all the staff ( Ms. Martha at the Country Store, Mr. Blacksmith, Mr. Bob at the Woodwork Center, Ms. Lori at the 1800 century house, Ms. Megan at The Marshallville School, Mr. Tin at the Tinware shop and Ms. Bookbinder who made this video possible. They were very supportive of us in sharing additional details of the village while agreeing to be on camera. Their mission Statement reads as follow: "The mission of Historic Cold Spring Village is to preserve and interpret the material culture and traditions of southern New Jersey by presenting visitors with an understanding of the region’s cultural history and embracing a personal encounter with the past. This is represented through historic preservation, history education, and heritage tourism."
