Emerson R156 - Oscillator Coil is Defective | JFET Tuned Gate Oscillator

My time in the shop has been limited as of late, but I have discovered the oscillator coil to be open and additional troubleshooting will be required. Thus far, we have a open field coil and now the oscillator coil is problematic. I decided to wind an oscillator coil by hand to work out some of the construction details and built a simple Tuned Gate Oscillator (Armstrong/Tickler) circuit that can be modulated using two 2N5457 JFETs to test the coil.
