Hiking Wallace Falls - Ultimate Guide to One of the Most Beloved Hikes in Washington

Ready to check out one of the best hikes near Seattle? Wallace Falls is located in Gold Bar Washington and approximately 1 hour away from Seattle (depending on traffic of course). Located just along the west side of the Cascade Mountains, the park features 3 different levels of waterfalls consisting of a lower falls, middle falls, and a 265 ft Upper Falls. -------------------------------------------------------- As you make your way up towards the trailhead, you will be hiking along old-growth coniferous forests, and along with the fast- moving rivers and streams of Wallace River. The hike itself relatively easy with a 5.6 mile RT hike (~2.3 to the upper falls) with an elevation gain of ~1300ft! With the short elevation gain, this makes Wallace Falls one of the more popular hikes that is located in the state of Washington! I would highly recommend coming early in the morning around 8am or later in the afternoon at around 12 - 1pm.
