Mario's Journal: Day 20 We found the last two yoshi kids before it got dark. One was sleeping in a tree. The other ran into a couple of putrid piranhas. Bow managed to save the kid just in time while the rest of us took down the plants. The kids promised to be good. Sushie was grateful for the help. The yoshi chief was very grateful that we saved the children. He had heard from Kolorado that we needed to go to Mt. Lavalava. The yoshi chief said that Raphael the Raven could help us get into the volcano. The jade raven he gave us should help us find Raphael. Sushie overheard our conversation with the chief and begged us not to go to the mountain since it was dangerous. I pulled Sushie aside and explained why we had to go to the volcano. Sushie's demeanor changed once I mentioned Peach. She decided to come with us. I asked if she was sure since the kids still needed to be watched. Sushie said that her daughter, Sashimie, could watch the kids. We set out this morning to look for Raphael. Sushie is a great addition to the party. She makes sure we're all prepared and at our full strength. Plus, she's able to summon vast amounts of water. I didn't know cheep cheeps could do that. Sushie told me that only certain cheep cheeps can summon that much water. Interesting. Kooper spotted a statue covered by a bunch of bushes. The statue looked like the same raven statue at the village. Beneath it was a hole. I placed the jade raven there and the statue moved, revealing more of the jungle. We walked deeper and deeper into the jungle, eventually running into a few putrid piranhas and a white magikoopa. They were easy to take down, but the white magikoopa being present is a concern. I knew Bowser had already been here since the Star Spirit is in the volcano...but I'm worried what other troops he may have placed here. We eventually reached a giant tree. At the very top of the tree was Raphael. He was MASSIVE! Raphael was very friendly. I explained the situation to him and he understood. He told us that he received a message from the stars and knew we were coming. He summoned some other ravens and we followed them to the volcano entrance. The ravens built a pulley system on a nearby tree that led right to the volcano. Kolorado was the first to test the system and it worked flawlessly. Raphael wished us luck and left with his ravens in tow. All that's left to do now is enter the volcano.
