A Comprehensive Deep Dive into National Employment Agency Services

Having the right job with the right skills is essential for young women and men to secure better opportunities to increase their income and support their families and future. The National Employment Agency (NEA), under the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, provides career and employment counselling services and guidance to young people, students, and job seekers nationwide. With job centres in 14 provinces and cities and mobile job centres, NEA assists with job searches and provides job services and job location information. With the support from the Skills Development Programme, NEA has effectively built the capacity of their counsellors. This collaboration has compiled two tools for counselling services, including a construction and automotive occupational profile booklet and a career counselling and guidance. The Skills Development Programme (SDP) is a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) co-funded by the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED). The SDP Phase 3 from 2024 to 2028 is implemented by Swisscontact in consortium with involas and in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MLVT), and the Ministry of Tourism (MoT).
