Read Before you watch. Story: Lucky is a police officer, also he is dating Haley. Nathan is their best friend. One night Lucky gets attacked and stabbed in the back. Nathan comes along just as his attacker runs off, Nathan hurries and calls 911 and follows them to the hospital. Lucky refuses to see Haley, he doesn't want her to see him like this, so Brooke comes in and convinces him to see her. Haley comes in and tells him that they can get through this together, and begs him not to give up hope. Lucky pushes himself to the limit and tries to force himself to get better. He begins taking pain killers and tends to go a bit overboard with them, soon he becomes addicted. Haley watches as the man she loves digs himself into a deep hole. She tries to save him but he doesn't seem to want her help. Lucky even gets so depressed as to consider killing himself. One day while he's loading his gun, Haley comes in and tells him that he is being selfish. He is so lost in a haze that he can barely comprehend what she is saying. Eventually he sees that he is hurting her, and goes on to make a public apology to her during a press conference. Haley finally starts to think that everything is going to go back to normal and they will be happy again, yet all the while Lucky is still taking the pain killers. Eventually, Haley catches on and confronts Lucky about it, which results in a blow out. Sorry the editing sucks, I got frustrated and gave up. Song: Drugs Or Me, Jimmy Eat World. I own nothing.
