Having left urban corporate life behind, I’ve come to realize how important qualities in our lives are becoming ever more rare. Pushed aside by modern society with its economy of hyper attention, accomplishment and performance. I was led to discovering what it means to live a good, meaningful and simpler life for myself and my family. The journey brought me out into the countryside where I practice self- & local reliance, conservation agriculture, raising livestock and providing my local community with healthy food food. I feel that my body needs to slow down and rest more, but chores still have to get done. The feeling of having made life for the animals better is very satisfying and at the end of a long day can make one proud. Farming is hard but meaningful work.
