Matías Nario aka Muten viene explorando el sonido hace más de veinte años. Es parte de la historia de la electrónica en Uruguay, pero su recorrido no se queda en la pista. A lo largo de los años llevó su trabajo a distintos territorios: producción de música electrónica, bandas sonoras para cine y teatro, piezas para publicidad y desarrollo de audio para proyectos digitales. También desde la docencia, formando a nuevas generaciones. Distintos formatos. Misma búsqueda. Cuando lo invitamos a grabar este set, la consigna era simple: dejar que su identidad aparezca sin intervenirla. Muten es capaz de adaptarse a distintos contextos sin perder su identidad expresiva. Este set es también una forma de reconocer ese camino. De mostrar a quienes vienen construyendo cultura. He’s part of the history of electronic music in Uruguay, but his path goes beyond the dancefloor. Over the years, his work has moved across different territories: electronic music production, soundtracks for film and theatre, pieces for advertising, and audio development for digital projects. He’s also been involved in teaching, shaping new generations along the way. Different formats. Same pursuit. When we invited him to record this set, the brief was simple: let his identity speak for itself. Muten moves through different contexts without losing his expressive core. This set is also a way of acknowledging that journey. Of highlighting those who have been building culture over time. Listening is a form of support.
