Draven Riffe and John Meadows - This Damn Far

It's been a while since I've uploaded any music to this channel, in the mean time I have uploaded a few new songs to my Spotify, including "sell out" where my brother John plays lead guitar and banjo that a lot of folks around the world have seemed to really enjoy. We have been recording everything and producing it all ourselves and we really have no idea what were doin so we are hoping y'all will let some imperfections slide from time to time until we can afford to record some songs with a real professional. Between getting a transmission rebuilt in my van (1994 Chevy Lumina Mini-Van, check my instagram to see more about my precious $900 vehicle that I love dearly ) , trying to dig deeper into myself and my music, and trying to figure out all the chords on a guitar , I was able to meet my buddy John Meadows from Cookeville, TN and we have begun playing shows together , we are both very passionate about our style of music we bring out in each other and we have recently got a place together in Cookeville, TN so that we will be able to play together every day if we want, we are fully committed to wherever this musical journey and the Lord takes us. I miss West Virginia but hope to be back and forth often to enjoy the things I love doing there like bass fishing the greenbrier and new river in the summer and trout fishing in the spring in Pocahontas county and on the Cranberry and Cherry rivers. My hunting season this fall in my home place of Boone County WV yielded no deer on my end but I can't say I was even really hunting to kill anyways... I was more so hunting for some peace within myself. With live music being pretty regulated in West Virginia, we played out first 6 shows together in Southeast Missouri recently and just picked up our first few gigs in middle Tennessee, so hopefully by summer we will be able to make it back to the mountain state to play, maybe by then we will have decided on a band name!
