THANK YOU to everyone who found my music through Amagansett Press. And a big thank you to Grand Island for being so welcoming to them when they came to town. I’m grateful for the kind words, the new subscribers, and the love. It means the world. I’m not chasing fame or algorithms. I’m just a guy who grew up flipping through liner notes while listening to albums on my big sister’s stereo, soaking in the words and melodies of folk, country, and all other kinds of music. I’ve always loved songwriting, and after my throat surgery last summer, I knew I couldn’t just appreciate music anymore. I needed to contribute something of my own to the world. So I did. I started writing. I hired a band. I made an album without a fancy studio. And somehow, that album has reached people all over the country, and even some overseas. What a blessing. But here’s the thing: I’m still just me, and I’m going to keep on doing what I always do. During the day I teach music in public schools. In the evenings, I give music lessons at Create308 after grabbing my evening caffeine fix from Daily Dose. On the weekends, I serve as an Ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church. So no, I’m not going on tour. I’m not trying to get rich. I’m already rich—like George Bailey at the end of It’s a Wonderful Life. I have my calling, my students, my music, Grand Island, and my God. Yesterday I played some new material that will go on future albums at a local open mic. Just me and the guitar. No clickbait. No fancy cameras. No big pitch. Just music. That’s all I’ve ever wanted to share. And if you’ve joined me for the ride—thank you. Stick around if you’d like, or move on when it’s time. Either way, I’m glad you were here. This little bump has been an incredible surprise. And I’m grateful. I really am a lucky ducky. 🦆 Let’s keep making good music and sharing joy. God bless.
