In this excerpt, Kelvin Gyimah, explains why some young activists tend to criticise governments in power towards elections. He believes it's a strategy to catch the eye of the opposition and create an avenue to be recognised should they win power. This was part of the "wear your jersey" conversation on CDD-Ghana's Youth Unplugged Podcast which explored the phenomenon on Ghana's digital space where activists and social commentators are tagged with political affiliations for airing their views either in support of or against a government.
