Kefi (Spirit of Joy) with Parea (friends) at the OC Greek Festival!!! Kalamatianos and Syrtos are the most popular dances throughout Greece and are frequently danced by Greeks and various nationalities worldwide. They are very popular in social gatherings, weddings and festivals. Syrtos and kalamatianos are line dances, done with the dancers in a curving line holding hands, facing right St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church sponsored the OC Greek Festival on May 16, 17 & 18 at Anaheim, California. The event provided delicious Greek foods and pastries, Greek Folk Dance Exhibitions, live music, dancing, cooking demonstrations, boutiques of various merchants with Greek and other interesting merchandise, Church Tours and Zorba's Kids Carnival and games. Entertainment provided by The Olympians, an awesome group of entertainers, and various other entertainers as well. A fun event for an entire family!! Video captured on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in HD.
