This new work by Katherine Bradford celebrates the freedom of nighttime. Swing Over Pool brings together two of the American painter's most beloved motifs – swimming pools and space. The cosmic composition, painted in 2025 with acrylic, is a prime example of her masterful blend of abstraction and figuration. In this artwork and her wider practice, the figures float as if they are weightless, mirroring the artist’s unconventional journey into art, where she released herself from traditional expectations around life and motherhood.
