Thornlie-Cockburn Line Perth to Perth Stadium Day Closure (incl. Bi-Directional Run!) (5 Oct 2025)

On Sunday the 5th of October 2025, another round of the typical Perth Station closure days occurred, with no trains operating on the Midland, Airport, Ellenbrook, and Armadale Lines, and Fremantle Line trains travelling to and from Perth Underground. However, during the last occasion of this closure in July (   • TCL Perth to Victoria Park Closure (incl. ...  ), the Thornlie-Cockburn Line operated between Cockburn Central and Victoria Park, with train replacement buses running from Oats Street to Perth. This time, the train ran up to Perth Stadium, with train replacement buses running from Burswood. This meant that there was bi-directional train running between Victoria Park and Perth Stadium, and all trains terminating at Perth Stadium from the southern direction which has not been seen before. In this video we check out all of these operations, although there were sadly no train destos or announcements for them.
