Puppies need to have a clear communication system. This is called "marker conditioning" - In this video we go over conditioning a tongue click as a variation of my "yes" marker. With my own Puppy in this video, she already understands "Yes" -- she already understands a "click" (of a clicker) but due to the dog sport I am training for (Mondioring) and due to a lack of dexterity with my hands... I am finding ways to work around my marker system. The mark system I am thinking of using is ONE tongue click = stationary reward MULTIPLE tongue clicks = dynamic reward This will be something that progresses for me over time.
