The concern was that Monto Clay degraded and turned into mud in the pot which is NOT something we want for our orchid roots. I have looked into Monto Clay, and have to say... according to what it says on the packaging it should behave just like Akadama and I have had great success with Akadama. Unfortunately, at this point in time I cannot troubleshoot with the viewer in the chat, as to what may have gone wrong.
