In 1865, after the end of the Civil War, the Sultana was carrying Union soldiers up the Mississippi River when she exploded. This work combines original material with the classic hymn, Abide with Me and two Union songs (We're Coming, Father Abra'am and The Battle Cry of Freedom) to create a dramatic narrative that will deeply impact players and audiences alike.
