I'm trying to help a friend sell a massive collection he inherited. His dad, who passed away several months ago, spent a lifetime amassing this collection. It's made up mostly of Native American (Indian) Artifacts, but it also contains fossils, Civil War bullets, paintings, showcases, etc. He wants to sell the entire contents of the building as a unit. This includes the display cases, paintings, books, etc. If you are interested in this collection, please leave a comment so we can get back with you. This would make a great collection to display, or to resell as an investment. Although this amazing collection has been sold, it's still well worth looking at in its entirety. There was so much to go over, it was nearly impossible to be able to describe it all. The huge pot or urn is completely amazing as is the Native American Copper Breast Plate. I understand that several of these was found around the Saltville/Smyth county area back in the day. Lots of clay pots and containers, beads of all shapes and sizes, several Paleo projectile points, close to 100 frames of arrowheads, a lot of minerals, fossils, unique items that don't fit a description, etc. I hated to see the title Indian Artifact Collection For Sale. I would loved to have seen it donated to the local museum. Some of the relics authenticity are questionable, but the bulk of the items were exactly what they appeared to be. The new owner had several of the items we had doubts about proven to be the real deal. I hope you will take the time to look at this one mans dream and lifetime collection. His name was Chub Arnold who lived in Saltville, Virginia and was one of the best individuals you would ever wanted to have met. I had many opportunities to have seen this collection while he was still alive; something I will always regret. He could have told me the history of so many of the items that I could have passed on to the new owner. Rest in Peace Mr. Arnold. I would like to thank all of you who watch my videos and I'd like to encourage you to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven't done so already.
