National census registers 6607 inmates at Luzira prison

At Luzira Maximum Security Prison, the authorities broke tradition and allowed the enumerators to physically count the inmates. In the past, the authorities would just give the details of the inmates to the census officials. And at the end of the day, the total number of inmates in Luzira Prison Complex was 6607, including the men and women excluding the 28 children belonging to the female inmates.
