September 25, 2017 I did my homework for Ben Folds' LA "Paper Airplane" request concert. Since we were sitting in the balcony, it would be tricky to get a paper airplane onto the stage, so I researched an origami plane design for distance, and folded 20 of them before the show. Figured that would increase our chances of getting at least one request close enough to him. When it was time in the show to launch our planes, I got three of them onto the stage, and a few more in the pit area. Now just had to cross my fingers and hope he would pick up one of my planes from among the hundreds that littered the stage. He did!
