यूपी बोर्ड की परीक्षाएं पूरे प्रदेश में 18 फरवरी से शुरू हो चुकी हैं, लेकिन दूसरे ही दिन परीक्षा छोड़ने वाले छात्रों की संख्या 3 लाख के पार पहुंच गई. साल 2025-26 में कुल 52,53,746 छात्रों ने रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया है. अब तक 3,40,760 छात्र परीक्षा में शामिल नहीं हुए हैं, जो शिक्षा विभाग के लिए चिंता का विषय बन गया है. बोर्ड की ओर से परीक्षा शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से कराई जा रही है, लेकिन लगातार बढ़ रही अनुपस्थिति कई सवाल खड़े कर रही है. विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इसके पीछे अलग-अलग सामाजिक और शैक्षणिक कारण हो सकते हैं.
