🖋️ Conklin Nozac 125th Anniversary Fountain Pen Review So the other day, I was hunting for a Conklin Mark Twain Limited Edition pen, when I stumbled on a deal that seemed to be too good to be true: A Conklin Nozac for $136 USD. Wow, I am sooo not into modern designs, metal pens (especially colored metal pens), nor Omniflex nibs. There was a lot that could go wrong with this pen. But only 125 were made, and at almost 90% off the $1,249 normal price tag, I thought I'd give it a shot. It turns out, I was pleasantly surprised! It's still strange in a lot of ways, mind you, but there is more to love than dislike, like the impressive JoWo 14k nib for starters. It's packed with surprises—some elegant, some confusing—and packaged in one of the most over-the-top display boxes I’ve seen.
