Thank-you for watching ✌︎ Click "SHOW MORE" for MORE INFORMATION ⇣ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ✄ WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Sharpie pen, a mug & (optional) damp cloth _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ➳ I used the black sharpie for these mug designs, I went over the designs a couple times to make it as black as possible so when it bakes it is as dark as possible. ➳ I got these mugs in Sainsburys, but I really recommended going around charity shop to reuse mugs/cups you can find some nice plain mugs :) ✄ TIPS: ➳ Clean the mug before you do your design on it, you can just wipe it over with lemon/lime juice to remove grease ➳ You can sketch out the design on paper if you are free handing your design onto your mug, you could also use stencils ➳ Go over your design a couple of times to make the ink darker ➳ Red sharpie fades when you bake it in the oven, it comes out a yellow/orange colour. I stuck to black, but I did have a gold, silver & bronze colour too which would look nice, they come out lighter so you may need a couple layers ➳ If you make a mistake you can just wipe it off with your finger, or you could use a damp cloth, you can rectify any mistake before it goes into the oven ➳ Place your mugs into the oven and then turn on the heat. bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes open the door to let them cool down slowly. If you put the mugs in a hot oven they could crack in the sudden temperature change ➳ Try to be gentle when washing these mugs, I hand wash anyway so for me it is fine to wash them gently. They will last longer ...... All of these tips should help you when designing your mugs and what to do to keep the design on the mug, they will be permenate BAKE THE MUGS IN THE OVEN 230 CELSIUS OR 446 FAHRENHEIT FOR 30 MINUTES.
